Andrews Visit!

The Andrews came to visit during their Spring Break! Aaron was actually happy & excited - he just makes this face when I ask him to smile.

We played a pretty intense game of catch phrase and scattergories. See my grandma sitting at the table on the right? She was working on a puzzle with Aunt Patty and could wipe the floor with all of us in word games. She would occasionally call out answers that were incredibly obvious.

Then, Ellie showed me grandma's flowers

Show time

Matthew and Daniel watched UP!

The sad part:

Brenda worked really hard on this project for school

She had to make (paint) all of these colors using only red, yellow, green, black and white.

Caroline, Ben and I worked equally hard on this Mr. T puzzle

It was a great visit. We all love when the Andrews come from Arizona.
We're so lucky to be able to see them!

Aaron & Kurt's Party = MONSTER SPORTS!

As we all know, Aaron LOVES soccer and Kurt LOVES hockey. A sport-themed party would be an obvious choice. But, awesome Target had a clearance on this monster stuff and so.... Monster Sports here we come!

Our Saturday Morning

We had our primary activity day! Guess what our theme was?

We had the service portion. We wrote letters and drew pictures to our missionaries and some elderly people in the ward. (And sometimes our pictures went to mom & dad or our friend Miles instead. That's good too.)

Aaron came to help out. He was awesome. One of the kids said, "Hey! He looks like a soccer player!" I think this pleased Aaron.

Games in the cultural hall:

The oldest Valiant class was in charge of the obstacle course:

This little guy is one of our favorites. He decided to rest during the obstacle course rotation. He also has awesome spiderman pajamas on with little wings attached under his arms.

Singing time

We showed the LDS Mormon Messages in one room and talked about them with the kids.
